About Zella King

I am :
- a graduate in Social and Political Science from Robinson College, Cambridge, with a PhD from the University of London
- a Senior Lecturer in Management at the University of Reading
- one of seven AIM Innovation Fellows working on innovation-related projects relevant to UK competitiveness. AIM is the Advanced Institute of Management Research
- a social scientist fascinated by the ‘human’ side of innovation and by how social networks come about. Here's a report I wrote on this topic for the DTI in July 2006.
- an academic who has previously worked in consultancy and investment banking
- a non-technical person studying technological issues (but with some understanding of basic concepts thanks to A levels in Physics and Chemistry)
